Yep, this pretty green number is made from four plastic Mountain Dew bottles and … took about two hours to make … .

For how-to / DIY tutorial, see EPBOT.

That’s marvelous! I’d be worried about it falling down, though, so I’d probably try to make a different base.

Huh, I never would have thought of this. It would only work with small quantities of narrow ribbon, though. But it would be an excuse to buy those orange tic tacs I really like.

Wrap yarn around balloon. Dip balloon in watered down glue. Let dry, pop balloon.

omg.

if you use waterballoons and make them small you can attach them to christmas lights and hang them wherever ^_^

Oh my gosh. I think I’m going to do this.

I want to do this too. I have no yarn and no glue as of yet. But soon I will have them… and then….
WORLD DOMINATION!

I think I will do this when I move. Easy and cheap decoration :)

DIY Felt Rug! « nest design studio { blog }
I cannot begin to tell you how happy this makes me. Not just or it’s sheer awesomeness but because now I have something to do with the giant drawer of felt I have acquired. While I cannot attest to how easy to clean this would be as a loor mat, I think as a table runner or shelf liner it would be perfect. (Some scotch guard and a lint roller and you’re good to go.)
